Oadby v Sileby and Eynesbury v Harrowby this weekend. Hopefully Oadby can get a win, which would (presuming we win!) cut the gap to 4 points behind 2nd and 5 behind 1st.

R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

Would it be best if Sileby beat Oadby putting us two points behind Oadby in second (assuming we win)??

A win for us and a draw between Oadby and Sileby would leave us 3 points adrift of Oadby and 5 adrift of Sileby.
As we have to still play Oadby once and Sileby twice that would potentially put things into our own hands if were were able to win those three matches, although Oadby do have a far superior goal diffence to us at present.
Whatever happens there is still a long way to go before the end of the season.

We could do with something dodgy in the Oadby water which lays the players from both teams up for six months

Let us concentrate on events under our control. Let us get the win and let them sort out their own affairs. If we win, we've done our bit. We have a decent run of what I see as winnable matches, and by the time we play Sileby, we could be a bit closer to them than we are now.
Good thing is, we have pretty much everyone available, so team selection should be the only headache. I am looking forward to this one.

I'd definately consider going to the Sileby -v- Oadby match if our game gets called off. We need to concentrate on winning our games first, and I'm looking forward to seeing Wizzy back in action soon.
