[ Sat 9th Mar ] v Bugbrooke St Michaels KO 3pm UCL1 AWAY
Re: [ Sat 9th Mar ] v Bugbrooke St Michaels KO 3pm UCL1 AWAY
This will be one of the toughest matches of the season. I am looking forward to the match because this will give us an indication of how we raise our game against a team that is probably capable of beating us, or certainly, not losing to us.. Interesting.

Will be interesting to see if Bugbrooke can do some damage at Sileby this evening. Although I felt we should have beaten Bugbrooke in the home fixture earlier in the season I felt they were a very well organised and workmanlike side. However, we have now Lance Allen in our squad who caused us problems that night.
I feel as a team we have bedded down from the side that played that evening and our defence is very secure as a mere two goals conceded in the last 10 games will testify.

I'm hoping this will be a decent open game. Bugbrooke should have more confidence to come at us that teams we have faced recently and hopefully that will help us raise our game.
Once again Starms and Peaksy will have some interesting selection decisions. If available I would expect Chris Hope to return to the team and bring some much needed glamour to the centre back pairing.
I did a coaching course at Bugbrooke a few years ago. I remember it as a neat little ground with a decent club house.

I'll be back in the shire, so making a rare appearance. Can't wait, it's my first game in ages.

Hoping this won't fall foul of the weather. Been a fair amount of rain today and set to continue tomorrow.

If Hopey's available I would think that 'Nosey' Parkinson will be rested to give his conk time to recover
