Forking the pitch now help needed

Post by bozzer »

If anyone is free at the moment we are after 2 or 3 people to get to the ground and assist the ones who are there to fork the pitch and clear the standing water, if you can get down there please call Bob 07798 610479 or Jon on 07545 787711

Pitch not looking too clever judging by the recent picture on twitter.

Just a thought, wouldn't postponement work in our favour, allowing the UCL to rearrange it on the same day the other contenders finish their league programme?

And a last day promotion decider at home? Sounds exciting. Considering we've had another hour of rain since 6pm and more forecast tomorrow, we might get that very scenario.

If our pitch is flooding, wouldn't surprise me if Oadby have similar problems with that brook outside the ground and their low lying swampy pitch.

I think Bourne already have a fixture that day, so we would most likely have to move it to a Thursday night prior out last game.

Kind of a selfish thing to say but I hope it does get postponed, only because I can't go due to my nieces 4th birthday party which I can't get out of.

Two games in 2 days, surely not?? That's the last thing we need going to Spencer playing only 2 days before

we will still need people down the ground to make sure we get the game on, points on the board are better than games in hand
