Congratulations Yeovil!!
Well done for beating Brentford today and getting into the Championship, only seems like yesterday we played you at Nene Park! Good for you. PS. And sorry to my Big Bruv who supports Brentford, stick with the Diamonds and you'll be alright

I recall that '442 Magazine' had a poll for the fans about 10 years ago. He was voted Yeovil's Best Ever Player and in the same poll was voted RDFC's Worst Ever Player.TimbersDiamond wrote:The club Warren Patmore built. :(

A part of me wonders what might've happend had we beaten Yeovil in the FA Cup that year. That offside goal still angers me now, I've never ever been so angry with an official. The money we would've inevitably received had we won that game could've maybe saved us.

Not sure about that. It would've only been £17.5k (from memory) for winning in the 1st Round. We'd have needed to get a TV game in the next round and even then that would've only been £50k plus half a big gate.TwinkleToesTomlin wrote:A part of me wonders what might've happend had we beaten Yeovil in the FA Cup that year. I still don't know how the linesman didn't see it as interfering with play!
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

We had a bit of a moan about one or two decisions in the season just finished. ;)
But that was awful, and from an official at a much higher level.
