UCL AGM / Agenda
See updated story on OWS - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/ucl-agm-2013
The 2011-12 season's minutes and the financial figures for 2012-13 make some interesting reading - as does the list of award winners for 2012-13 that will be presented at the AGM (at least our name appears in green elsewhere in the document). Their comment on the 2012-13 season end-date has rather bitten them too.
There's a familiar name on the list of Board members - any relation?

Re: UCL AGM / Agenda
After our experience of the UCL fixture scheduling last season, perhaps Phil Hiscox of the South West Peninsula League (Steps 6/7) can be hired to show best practice!

Full fixtures for release on 6th June!

"On the plus side I feel we need to programme more early season midweek matches to address the possibility of loss of pitches due to bad weather later in the season."
Good to hear! And its nice to see us confirmed in the premier, will be a tough season with Wisbech moving over, though I'm looking forward to those games as they average around 250 and I'm sure will bring a few away fans as well.

That's something I've been advocating for many years. Finally, the penny has dropped.Olly wrote:"On the plus side I feel we need to programme more early season midweek matches to address the possibility of loss of pitches due to bad weather later in the season."

I did see it reported some time ago that they have funding in place for lights.Formic wrote:I also spotted the comment that the League is to become fully floodlit during next season. I wonder how the Chenecks are going to manage that.

Funding would be only part of the issue - I'm not sure where they could site them on the cricket pitch.Sid wrote:I did see it reported some time ago that they have funding in place for lights.Formic wrote:I also spotted the comment that the League is to become fully floodlit during next season. That was what I was wondering - I can see it would be a bigger challenge than the likes of Thrapston would have had.rushdenman wrote:Funding would be only part of the issue - I'm not sure where they could site them on the cricket pitch.Sid wrote:I did see it reported some time ago that they have funding in place for lights.Formic wrote:I also spotted the comment that the League is to become fully floodlit during next season. Yes I'm aware of the problems they have, but if they've got a grant to part pay for floodlights, then I presume they must have put forward a solution.
