Would it not be a good idea to now switch the R & H game to that Saturday.
Did I read that this game was to be in recognition of the guy at R & H who died a few months ago.?
A much bigger crowd would raise a fair sum and be a fitting tribute to a stalwart of grass roots football..

I did wonder about the Northwich game a week or two ago when I read they had to cancel/rearrange/switch venue for another pre season game. Worth investigating sussexdiamond's idea?

I agree. Far better if we could play at Hayden Road at 3pm on the following Saturday. Reckon it would put several hundred on the gate compared with an evening fixture that many people struggle to get to.

Northwich have now called off their planned friendly with Winsford United due to pitch issues.
