No surprise there. Didn't strike me as the sort of guy who would hang around once the money dried up. I wonder if they'll have 11 players to start the season?

I think I saw they lost 4-1 in a friendly to Weldon? What on earth was the point of last season for them exactly? I mean specifically for whoever shelled out all the money to win a step-6 league, only to then not bother going any further?Trek wrote:No surprise there. I never once heard where or who the money is/was actually coming from...
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

They are apparently struggling to attract players and its £££ thats causing the problem.

That's clearly the case, Ling training with us a few weeks back, Byrne back to Desboro', Smeathers to Wellingboro' and Chilton on trial with us.Mat.H wrote:They are apparently struggling to attract players and its £££ thats causing the problem.

Re: Glenn Botterill Resigns
I asked this a few days ago. I just don't get it, maybe the moneymen weren't rich enough to pump money to win a higher league so UCL Division 1 is all they could afford! :lol:Everyweeker wrote:I think I saw they lost 4-1 in a friendly to Weldon? I wonder if they paid all the bills before they left?
