Pat Rayment
I see Jon Dunham has just Tweeted that Pat is staying at Spalding - gutted, had hoped he'd leave and take half his team with him ;)

Re: Pat Rayment
The fixture list has certainly been kind to Peters, who's been able to face the three sides that are actually below Corby during his stint as caretaker.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

Re: Pat Rayment
From what I was told by two different, unconnected sources, half the Spalding team are contracted and on as much money as they could hope to earn at Steel Park

Re: Pat Rayment
I reckon Rayment wasn't too impressed when Ingram told him what his playing budget would be and that he wouldn't be able to bring Tidswell and a few other Tulips players with him.

I was told by 2 unconnected sources that the pies at Northwood were very good though not as good as Ashington, but I guess you may well have already been aware of that.SouthRushdenJFC wrote:From what I was told by two different, unconnected sources, half the Spalding team are contracted and on as much money as they could hope to earn at Steel Park

Re: Pat Rayment
I didn't go to Washington so can't comment on the pies there, I did have a rather nice mixed grill while working in Darlington recently though.
Last week really was a pie scoffers delight. In my highly educated and vastly experienced opinion the pasties at Huntingdon shaded the pies at North wood. It was no contest for bar staff though, with Jubilee Park winning by a country mile

“We have a great team at Spalding and I’m convinced we’re going to have an unprecedented season that’ll break all sorts of records.”
Looks like they're going to be winning everything then.

Re: Pat Rayment
Would be very surprised if Tidsey would have went to Steel park, it would not be in his biusness interests to play much higher than UCL . He has been approached in previous years by other higher clubs and has always turned them down
