Keeping everything crossed the weather is kind to us over the next few days, will be a big shame, especially for our landlords if this ends up being postponed to a cold February Tuesday night, cause I wonder whether it could be a 4 figure crowd for this one, they got that several years ago against Shitworths didn't they?

I didn't think they were our landlords? I was under the understanding it was a groundshare with another person being landlord and we both share income 50:50 on things like gate money and bar takings etc ?Olly wrote:Keeping everything crossed the weather is kind to us over the next few days, will be a big shame, especially for our landlords if this ends up being postponed to a cold February Tuesday night, cause I wonder whether it could be a 4 figure crowd for this one, they got that several years ago against Shitworths didn't they?

People from outside the club refer to the Doughboys as our landlords. Now we all know that they don't own the Dog and Duck ground, and havn't done so for many years, and they have a long term lease with the owner and we are in a formal 'ground share' situation with them that could run for many years. I understand that we have a 15 year agreement with a 12 month break clause on either side. I suppose it really depends if their original lease documents with the owner have been amended to reflect the current situation.

Not on gate money but only on 'catering and bar profits'.Three of Diamonds wrote:we both share income 50:50 on things like gate money and bar takings etc ?

Any idea what gate prices are going to be - thinking of dragging down the rest of the family for a boxing day treat?

Saw them earlier in the season. A poorly octopus (six squid) for adults and free for kids under 16.
Yes the crackers have been opened early this year and here's another one free.
I saw Doctor Who in Pizza Hut, he was having Dalek Bread.
