Dale Roberts
Set himself a target of 20 clean sheets this season and with today's CS is now on 10 for the season. There are exactly 10 games left of the regular season, does anyone want to bet that he'll not make this target? ;)
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

Re: Dale Roberts
I suspect he didn't know he was going to be dropped for 12 games so shall we say we'll be satisfied with 15? He's looked excellent since getting back his place. Surely a strong contender for player of the season.
Re: Dale Roberts
Added to the games he missed is the fact that our defence were poor at the start of the season. They are settled now, in fact Corcoran is forcing everyone in the back row to play well to keep their place having come in and out of the side several times and performing well. I suspect Osano coming on today was more for the attacking full back role than the defensive side of things.
I take it Dale wouldn't mind having to count the playoff games to make the 20, especially if he gets 7 from the remainder of the season ;)

Re: Dale Roberts
Jamie Stuart should get that, he's been immense all season long !!! I paid him the highest praise possible today, I said he was the best centre half we've had since Razor !!Cotty wrote:I suspect he didn't know he was going to be dropped for 12 games so shall we say we'll be satisfied with 15? Jamie Stuart has been immense he plays his game with passion, a give it all player.Could hear him on the field today he was giving some right rollickings, and for a small defender he seems to win the ball in the air all the time.PigmanRDFC wrote:Jamie Stuart should get that, he's been immense all season long !!! Don't quite agree with that Pigman, i thought he started off life as a Diamond very slowly but now has became a very steady player for us.PigmanRDFC wrote:Jamie Stuart should get that, he's been immense all season long !!! I was the first to call him at the start of the season, but he's proved me wrong and has made an excellent partnership at the back with Downer!
Re: Dale Roberts
me too!
have to say i didnt like stuart for quite a few weeks at the start of the season. thought he was a weak link in the side.
but hes really proved me wrong, him and downer have formed a strong partnership and have a lot to do with the form we are enjoying now.
his song is really growing on me too ;)
