It seems there's a good chance we'll hear who we will face in the FA Cup on Friday - and perhaps may also see who we might face in the next one or two rounds should we get through. Who does anybody fancy?
I wonder if we'll get another team from the Spartan South Midlands in the Extra-Preliminary Round - perhaps Ampthill given we had to call off the friendly against them.
Alternatively it might be good to face Sileby in what would be their FA Cup debut apparently.
FA Cup Draw Predictions
Re: FA Cup Draw Predictions
Well I was going to say its pretty unlikely anyone will predict correctly considering how many teams are in at this stage, but of course its all regional isn't it, so how many are in our region, 30 or 40?
Wouldn't mind another trip to North London tbh, I really enjoyed those games, its always nice to have a game outside of the UCL region, so I'll predict away to Hertford Town of the SSML.

Re: FA Cup Draw Predictions
I would settle for anything outside of the UCL to be honest, some different teams. I too really enjoyed the away games in north London last year and would be happy if something similar occured this time - although I think we're due a home draw!
Above all I want us to be able to progress as far as possible in the competition. With the strength of our squad this year is the 4th Qual Round or 1st Round out of the question? Daventry did it last year.
Imagine if we reached the 1st Round, got a home draw, and ended up on TV. We can dream. ;)

Re: FA Cup Draw Predictions
A byes in the extra preliminary round and preliminary round would be a good start and a home tie to a club outside the UCL next.
Re: FA Cup Draw Predictions
Well again, I certainly will be dreaming of the 1st round proper (even though people thought I was mad to even mention the 1st round last year!), but its just such a long way for a team of our level, its amazing we need to win 5 games just to play the teams we used to play in the conference! Like I said last year, there's always the chance that we may get really lucky with the draw, but we might get 1 or 2 lucky or should I say 'easier' draws, but 6 of them is pushing it a bit. If we get through a few rounds and get an away tie at someone like Dover again with a few home fans, half decent ground and a terrace to get that atmosphere again, I'll certainly be happy.
