Re: AFCRDTV - Time for your help
I think I've suggested this before, but dont just limit this to Diamond fans. There may be media students in vocational nearby colleges are looking for opportunities like this to boost their CVs. Not sure if they'd go 120 miles north to Raggy Arse Rovers but could be a partial solution for home games.

Pretty sure we have always done that as well anyway - i.e. promoted or contacted various colleges/courses.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:I think I've suggested this before, but dont just limit this to Diamond fans. What was the response? So many youngsters get attracted to 'media' related courses at a higher education level so I'm frankly amazed we haven't managed to attract at least a couple living locally to get involved and get 'hands on' experience.Dazzler wrote:

Re: AFCRDTV - Time for your help
We have advised a number of local colleges, and the university of northampton in the past and had no interest at all.
Maybe someone could volunteer to try again, although of course that won't help us in the short term.
What we really need to start with is about 4 more people who are happy to give up 30/45 mins to film once a month or something, the more volunteers we have the less we have to do.

Didn't we have someone who had agreed to become a club volunteer for 30 hours as penance for issues at the end of last season? Perhaps it might be an avenue for that person to help the club and fellow fans out?

Re: AFCRDTV - Time for your help
I've done a good chunk of the 30 hours but I would be willing to help out. Unfortunately I'm not available on a regular basis this season as I'm playing football on Saturdays but I'll help out where possible. I'll have a word with Jon about this.Formic wrote:Didn't we have someone who had agreed to become a club volunteer for 30 hours as penance for issues at the end of last season? Re: AFCRDTV - Time for your help
Perhaps offering free admission to home games would boost the number of volunteers?
Re: AFCRDTV - Time for your help
You mean the volunteers were paying to get in and were doing the AFCRDTV coverage ??
If that is the case it would explain why we are struggling for volunteers.

Several if not most volunteers do also pay. I purchase a season ticket.
