Well according to another report Needham won 3-2.

Now someone had edited it to 3-3, i don't trust the Southern League website with scores and results as it changes by the minute after the event.

Southern League website has a really poor reputation for it's accuracy going back years. Certainly woundn't trust it to be correct on the day of a match.

Thing is, we are a lot closer to needham market than half of the league and with having to play a number of midweek fixtures, I'd imagine it would be quite difficult to keep everybody happy regarding travel. I would imagine that they would certainly try and avoid lowestoft or leiston having travel midweek to stourbridge or bromsgrove!

It was actually ‘Football Web Pages’ who had Needham winning 3-2 when I checked around 7pm on Saturday evening - they are usually on the ball with results. I was actually surprised to see BartonRaz’s comment yesterday that they had drawn the match and on checking Banbury’s twitter feed is seems that the home side were leading 3-1 at one stage!

To be fair now that the A14 has been upgraded between Spaldwick and Cambridge the journey to Needham Market is a lot easier and quicker from Rushden than it would have been just 2-3 years ago.
