Pitch Inspection 10:30am. With temperatures dropping to -4 tonight, I'm not sure why it's not just been called off today?!

The shadow from the main stand will not allow that area to thaw. I think we had similar situation last season. Beautiful sunny day but frozen pitch.

Unless there are exceptional circumstances like flooding or lying snow, the rules state that matches can only be called on the day of the match. It’s annoying, especially when clubs know their pitches well and know it won’t thaw in time.

I live in Hayden Rd and trust me when I say there is a heavy frost and freezing.

Match is OFF according to club socials and the NPL pages - currently -2, freezing fog in Rushden.
