Tamworth

I was hoping that the club might mention Tamworth's remarkable performance against Spurs yesterday. Peaksy, Champs and Tim Dudding did an awful lot for this club before they left and as i have said many times, AFCRD's loss is most definitely Tamworth's gain!

But for 3 awful refereeing decisions and an excellent chance near the end of normal time, the result could have been so different while the FA's decision to suck up to the big premiership boys over replays is criminal!

So I am going to say well done Tamworth and well done Peaksy, Champs and Tim.

To be honest, I was surprised as well not to see a good luck message or well done from the club for Peaksy & co.

Maybe. I did think about it, but felt between a rock and a hard place.

I'm sure we were all willing Tamworth to win (unless you support Spurs of course) and I'm sure many will have contacted the guys there privately to offer good luck, but unfortunately whenever Peaksy achieves anything we get hit with the tired and boring combination of the following on socials:

- "And to think certain people thought he wasn't good enough."
- "It could have been you/us."
- "Look what's happened since he left!" (would have happened anyway)
