Wrexham v Rushden and Diamonds

Day starts!!! Now Stuart, and more sensibly no Tommo/Faz at all. Personally i'm not 100% sure about this decision tbh, but i'm sure JEMS will prove me wrong again!!!
COME ON RUSHDEN

Yep, a definitely weakened team, but these matches are irrelevant, it's all about Play-Off preparation now.
I think JEMS are being sly, not allowing teams to scout them?

Re: Wrexham v Rushden and Diamonds
I'm sure teams could get the videos of our performances, and it seems that O'Connor who has been our key threat in last 2 games, admittedly without Tommo, would be the player i would want to protect from scouts.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Yep, a definitely weakened team, but these matches are irrelevant, it's all about Play-Off preparation now.

Anyway, its irrelevant as you say because that is the side JEMS have picked, and although i would want to keep winning and keep stable team, i can see the benefit of giving everyone in the squad a go.

Re: Wrexham v Rushden and Diamonds
I'm in two minds about this decision, surely it's good to go into the play-offs with your strongest side firing on all cylinders? Not to mention the fact that if we beat Wrexham today then we'll go into the last day with a chance at improving our position in the table and therefore could end up playing Oxford and not Luton (an easier prospect in my opinion). Looking at this selection I'd say JEMS are relishing the prospect of playing Luton over 2 legs. Hmmm...

Yeah you would assume they are very confident of playing and winning against Luton, which would be fantastic!!! As we say, the decision will be justified at Wembley, (if it happens of course ;) )Sara Pascoe wrote: Looking at this selection I'd say JEMS are relishing the prospect of playing Luton over 2 legs. Not filled with confidence by the line up, could see a 2 or 3 nil defeat, but of course I'd love to be proved wrong!!

Ebbsfleet have just scored against Gateshead, a massive game! I want Ebbsfleet to stay up personally!

I think JEMS have done the right thing. It'll give some fringe players a bit of match time and rest the likes of Stuart who has quite a few bookings as well. The score is irrelevant.
