Re: Radio Diamonds for Cogenhoe (H)
Well done for the coverage guys and, despite some technical challenges occasionally, the commentary is easy to follow and much appreciated. I've struggled to get to many games this season and it's really good to be able to at least get to follow the game with Radio Diamonds. Keep up the good work ...

Re: Desperate measures.....
I don't think this takeover will see KTFC go under as the only asset they have is their league place and there's no point in investing just to throw that away. I believe we'll see exactly what we saw with the RDFC takeover and that is investment in players to try to push for promotion and build ...

Re: Desperate measures.....
I think Pigman is spot on. Is it possible that the blueprint is to follow the example of what Winkleman did with MK Dons? If they make the name change and take the resulting bad attendance for two or three years but invest and get success on the field then maybe the now combined populations of East ...

Re: R & D Trust AGM announced
The context is important here though. The 1% vote (which I can't actually recall being asked for a show of hands on) would have come after being told that the someone had contacted KC with the suggestion of starting up a phoenix club but had subsequently given up over a lack of support. When you ...

Re: R & D Trust AGM announced
That now infamous show of hands regarding continuing to watch football at Nene Park also came after we were told that Ladak was acting as a white knight for RDFC at the Conference AGM. Quite appropriate timing you could argue?

Re: RDFC accounts and Administrators Proposals
It seems the die was cast in 2007 with £923k of losses. I assume this was impact of losing FL status and the resultant drop in revenue from sponsorship and TV rights.

Re: MM sacked.
Formic, you're definitely not alone.
In hindsight the warning signs were there and kept coming. Were the following comments from November 2009 (once their new stadium deal fell through) just coincidence...

I'm not sure MM is going to be too easy to remove. I reckon he's bringing more than just management experience to that appointment.Trek wrote:Shall we take bets on when MM will be sacked and Ladick announces cuts to the playing budget? ;)
