Re: End of an Era

There are so many memories of Simon's time at the club - I hope he is as big a success at Luton.[/quote]

Fantastic servant to the club and cannot speak higher of the man. True Diamond legend and wish him all the best.

Welcome to the club Harry :)

Re: Ever wondered what happened to...

One of my best mates plays for St Neots Town too so I have seen him play a few times. Unfortunately blighted by injuries but is doing a very good job at St Neots.

Re: Alan Power...

"He used to partner Mark Byrne in central midfield in the Nottingham Forest reserves, not to compare people to each other but they are very similar players in their style of action and all round displays," So my jokey comment was actually spot on.... good signing however I think this defi...

Apologies if this has already been posted....

But I think this is fairly positive http://www.northantset.co.uk/diamonds/Byrne-set-to-stay-with.6284988.jp To summarise, Byrne deal is close as is Jamie Stuart (which of course is now done) and Kurt Robinson. Max Porter

Anyone else think tonight was his best game for us? He tracked back and was getting stuck in and i was amazed at the number of times he was using his head to get the ball safe!

Great performance and roll on Monday!

The ref todays last game at Nene Park was when we beat Forest Green 4-2.

We've scored 12 goals in the two games he's been in charge of!

All refs could learn a lesson from this guy! :P

Re: Oxford 1-0 R&DFC

how many of us would have taken 3 points from stevenage and oxford? Granted its disappointing but its done now...gotta just move on and beat the Scum and Mansfield on Saturday. Lets not give up on this just yet...Luton and York drew so we havent lost too much ground! The top three are all in the FA ...
