I totally concur with what DBSI has said. From an ET standpoint I spoke with Rob yesterday and perfectly understand the boards reasoning behind Monday evenings 'surprise' announcement.
I now look forward to learning who the new manager will be and also his assistant.
Nobody is doubting the job ...

Re: [ Sat 29th Mar ] v Wellingborough Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY
Couldn't agree more with the last 2 posts. Let me say straight away that at the start of the season I'd have taken our current position very happily, but the football on offer recently has been very flat. Leaving the ground yesterday several of our supporters were critical of our style of play and ...

Re: [ Sat 8th Feb ] v Rugby Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME
On a dreadful pitch that was a very hard watch and an awful game of football. The passing and clearances from both sides were woeful!
BUT 3 points is 3 points and fair play to the lads who battled away in very difficult conditions. The GK looked good but please be a bit quicker on the kick outs ...

New signing
i only hope that the ridiculous twitter/X feed from the club today doesn't put too much pressure on our new striker. Far to much hype and simply not funny at all!
I thought it was April Fools day!

Re: Former Players
A great servant but not a legend in the Liam Dolman sense of the word! Definitely, a key member last season.
I guess that he wont be the last to leave in the next few weeks as reinforcements arrive to stop the slide down the table.
New striker next?

Re: [ Sat 25th Jan ] v Quorn, KO 3pm NPLD1M HOME
This is definitely a daunting prospect but also like many people have said a free hit. And don't forget we were close to beating them earlier in the season.
Quorn's record this season is incredible! 22 wins from 27 matches. Just one defeat and 13 consecutive away wins going into Saturday's game ...

Have to agree with a lot of what has been said.
Until the 3 subs came on, I could only pick out Adegbola as a positive last night, he is definitely a step 3 player with potential.
We need a new left back and quickly! Hopefully one of the MK lads can play there. The 2 goals conceded were both ...

Re: [ Sat 18th Jan ] v Sutton Coldfield Town, KO 3pm NPLD1M AWAY
I'm not sure where this negativity has come from but I can assure the board that the other 99% of the fans are fully behind the current board.
I, for one, are just happy to have a football club to support! I'm indebted to Rob, Alex, the rest of the board (and Chris Nunn) for not only keeping AFCRD ...

Enjoyed that one!
2 very evenly matched sides and a good work out for Diamonds which put minutes into the team. i think Michael was a bit 'tongue in cheek' when he said that it was Bugbrooke's cup final - we are only step 4 and it wasn't Tamworth v Spurs!
Positives? Arguably Cairo's best ...
