All things considered it's not a great result

Wouldn’t have taken the result if offered at the start of the game but certainly would at HT. There’s no disputing that that was an uncomfortable afternoon. Hopefully we can improve drastically at home, similar to other FA Cup ties in years gone by against Cockfosters and London Colney.
Got to stop playing with 1 up front. We looked toothless last Saturday and again today. Hopefully Diamond and Dolman aren’t too far away, desperately lacking some calm at the back and a bit of quality going forward.

This back four can't come soon enough for me.Happy enough with draw. We know as well as anybody how being the underdog can lift a team. Now we must finish them off and hope for that rarity ..a home draw.sussexdiamond wrote: ↑Fri Aug 24, 2018 6:12 pm A back four of Reynolds, Dolman, Ashton and Brown would go a very long way to ensuring a win. Just hope all are available this week.

The first half was allovertheplace. Missed tackles, slow passing, poor quality in general and the back four was shaky. One all at half time was a relief.
Second half was much better, higher tempo and got at them. What we lacked was a decent finish and a half sharp ref.
Good points - Deano terrorised their full backs and we created some good chances

Just spotted that Bedworth - who are in our league - were dumped out of the FA Cup today, losing 3-1 at home to Step 6 side Atherstone.

Jason tweeted this earlier;
“Sadly a dislocated and fractured ankle in several places, with medial ligament rupture”
Wishing him all the best for a speedy recovery, Special mention to Kelly though who yesterday ran more yards than most of our team in the 1st half

We're still going to Wembley.
