Time added on..?
Time added on..?
Couldn't believe only 2 mins added on after first half. There were 4 stoppages for injuries each lasting at least 2 minutes and the time added on for the goal. Do the officials make this up..?
Also couldn't believe Farrell's miss..! :o
And couldn't believe Eddy's celebration..!

Re: Time added on..?
I know this is going to sound like a strange one considering he didn't make any glaring errors as such, but i thought the ref today was diabolical.
Firstly, as you rightly point out, there should have been at least 5 minutes added on in the first half. Secondly, he regularly appeared to change his mind when giving throw-ins. Thirdly, he booked a couple of our players (I can remember Porter being one) for routine slide tackles. And last by no means least, he signaled like he had given a free kick for Oshodi's goal which meant that the ground fell momentarily silent. Listening to the radio coming away from the ground, it was clear that they were confused also.

Yes 3 bookings in a non-physical game, although PCH's card looked justified..?BartonRaz wrote:I know this is going to sound like a strange one considering he didn't make an glaring errors at such, but i thought the ref today was diabolical.

Yes just about. It was Osano's awful pass that left him pretty much no choice.Dukes wrote:Yes 3 bookings in a non-physical game, although PCH's card looked justified..?BartonRaz wrote:I know this is going to sound like a strange one considering he didn't make an glaring errors at such, but i thought the ref today was diabolical.

Re: Time added on..?
TBH i would imagine everyone in the ground and Faz thought that Azza would go for goal as he normally does, i don't know who was more supriseed when Az cut the ball back, me or Faz!Dukes wrote:Also couldn't believe Farrell's miss..!
For me the worst miss was the free header Faz had on goal before Eddie scored!
