Darlington's current average home attendance is 1,826, with the capacity capped at 10,000 due to safety certificate reasons.

:lol: Not that it matters because they're not going to get anywhere near 10,000 in there any time soon, but why is a shiny new 25,000+ seater stadium not allowed to use 60% of it's capacity?! :lol:

Indeed, seems very strange indeed.

It's in a very open area if I remember rightly so couldn't see any issues with crowding?

If I remember correctly, it's that ground that crippled them in the first place. It was built by a chairman who wanted to take them to the Championship/Premiership and then pulled out a year later.
