You've obviously not been on Ploppsnet in the last few years.

An owner has a voice to the fans, the OS. He can also answer individual private questions in emails. Coming on hear leads to the all too easy risk of being dragged into personal bickering.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

I voted NO, the reason being is that messageboards can become extremely negative, rumour-mongering and demoralising and if you're in charge of a club it could hasten it's demise by doing the same to the owners. Just look what facebook cost the club for the Kiddy game - madness.

I voted no (obviously) for the same reasons as Robin above - we'd be naive if we thought owners/club officials didn't look in on here and get the feel of what supporters are saying/are concerned about. They can then issue public statements via the OWS to allay those fears (or otherwise !!).

Ladick went on his supporter's messageboard and look how that ended up, it was a farce. Now I don't expect anything different from that horrid little club, but we're a class above........aren't we? Well, not in financial terms obviously, but in behaviour, definately !! ;)

Be accessible by all means, but people on here are (in the main) faceless, you don't know who is behind the username.

PersonalY I'd like to see a question and answer session, much in the same way as we have for the fans forum. Questions could be posed on a thread which is pinned at the top of the forum and the club can answer those questions it feels it can via the OWS - for me that would be a happy compromise. Too much bitching and negativity can come about on a messageboard and owners of football clubs, in my opinion, should keep as far away from that as they can !!
