Tony, can I suggest that an item be included about the total Club debt outstanding at present.Formic wrote: The first thing the meeting will need to do is appoint a chairman and agree an agenda if it has any chance of being productive.
£750,000 is far too vague for my liking. An accountant needs to get involved to categorise the amounts outstanding, creditor by creditor. For example Cloverdale may consider 'x' is due, whereas Club representatives consider 'y' is the correct amount. I feel that this is needed to concentrate our minds on what cash is necessary to raise in the short term to stay the winding up order.
Re: Meeting TONIGHT. 7:30pm
It's not as easy to judge after the meeting time and venue was set at Tuesday's meeting, so people didn't have to email to express an interest. I'd guess around 80 - let's just hope that amongst them there are a few people with very deep pockets prepared to offer director guarantees, otherwise all this fund-raising might only achieve the initial aim of proving how committed we are to the cause, unless KC is prepared to give those guarantees on the fans behalf.Rushdenjim wrote:How many do you think will attend?Formic wrote:That's the million dollar question ! Re: Meeting TONIGHT. 7:30pm
Tonights meeting was attended by 71 people and following has decided:
* A small group of people will go down the club on monday and ring every single person on the season ticket database asking for them for a renewal.
* Tuesday will be classed as an 'open day' with the reception desk being manned 2-8 for people to go down and buy there season ticket
*The idea of an ex players match is being looked at.
So far £20k has been raised

How many ST holders did you have last year and how much are they?
This should surely raise upwards of £70,000
