Thanks for the information Pressman, nice to know there MAY be a potential light at the end of the tunnel, we'll just have to wait patiently and see whether anything comes to fruition next week.

What a load of rubbish Mad Dog! Get off your high horse and get a life!

If you knew me at all - which thankfully you don't - I am a fan first and journalist second. I go to games if I'm not working and feel humble to be working for the beeb watching the team that I love and support.

I am entitled to an OPINION like everybody else and it does not conflict my position as either fan or journalist . There are at least three other journalists who post on this board regularly - are they unprofessional as well!

Where I am professional is ensuring that I retain the confidence of those people who choose to confide in me and therefore if JE chooses to tell me something off the record you won't hear about it!

End of discussion. I'm not going to waste anymore time on your comments but I will continue to post if I think it is in the fans interest!

Pressman - don't take any notice of mad dog. He has some agenda of his own that I cannot quite fathom. I for one appreciate your informed postings and I think it's generally pretty clear which are your opinions and which are facts.

Chris, i doubt i'm in the minority when I say that we appreciate any inside info or light you can shed on everything RDFC, not just the current situation.

Thanks guys. Mad Dog seems to have his own agenda which winds me up especially comments like journalists shouldnt be unprofessional and post on here!

Please look at the comments made by JE in one of my earlier posts on this thread.

He is still in love with this club and if we get the opportunity to follow our club next season I feel sure that unless someone higher comes in for him he will be again our leader.

He's gone of his own free will, and i think banning him would have been a bit extreme ;) . We are afterall all entitled to our own opinions (within legal reason), even if they are roundly disagreed with.
