Extremely old news this one, Calum has been with Wootton for the last two years. He is also playing for Meltis Mexicans in the Bedford Sunday League Premier Division. The main reason Calum is playing is because all his mates and old school friends play for both clubs.
I believe he has taken the insurance payment from the PFA and will never play professional football again.

There are stories on various websites that Wootton Blue Cross have submitted their provisional resignation from the UCL at the end of the season. It doesn't seem to be the most buoyant of leagues - but given some of the "dog in a manger" attitudes seen on the UCL forum then perhaps its not surprising.

Long Buckby are having real problems with their floodlights, another game called off tonight, if they win the UCL I'd be surprised if the Southern League accepted them without assurances.

They've got 8 games to play in the next 3 weeks.

They don't seem to be that bothered about fixing it either. I don't think it's a problem that has just happened this winter

According to a post on the 'Non League Matters' forum K*ttering are hoping to enter their youth team in the UCL next season :?
I trust this will be in the reserve section, or perhaps the plan is it will actually be the 1st team when it all goes tits up.

I may have missed this, but when do AFC R&D find out about acceptance and what division of the UCL we would be playing in?
