Now rumoured that Cogenhoe may ask for voluntary demotion, other Premier clubs have sub-standard grounds, at this rate there will be about 14 clubs in the Prem and 22 in Div 1

The AGM is usually in June, after those of the Step 3/4 leagues, wouldn't think we find out until then.

I'm not in the know, but I had a quick search and found that a couple of years ago, King's Lynn found out 23rd April, so I guess it'll be end of this month, early next month then?

Long Buckby drew with Daventry today. It's early days but given how both teams have managed to keep up an impeccable record this season i'd suggest that has handed the title to King's Lynn.

They do have to play each other before the season is out, but given that Long Buckby have to play a ridiculous amount of games in the final few weeks due to postponements, and they're having to play midweek games at Northampton Spencer due to floodlight problems, I think it's going to be a very big ask.

The FA make their decision in May, I believe. No specific date has been mentioned, though.

The FA make the decision not the UCL, so the date of the UCL AGM will have no bearing on the decision being made.

We've not been given a definitive date (because there isn't one), but would hope a decision will be made by the end of May.

Long Buckby beat King's Lynn 2-1 today, almost 800 there.

They did it with only 10 men for much of the second half after one of their defenders was seen as the main offender in a brawl shortly after half-time.

Buckby took advantage of their big game by upping the admission prices by £3, charging £3 to park and £2 for a programme that you'd have expected to pay 50p for (£1 at most).

They are only 3 goals worse off than Kings Lynn now, so if they win their two games in hand by decent margins they can get back in the driving seat. as both teams can reach the same points total.

Clearly they'll have a lot of work to do on their ground if they do get promoted, as they don't even have turnstiles, but today's takings will help that - and help to get the floodlights sorted. Their ground is quite like Raunds, with cover only on one side, although they have more seats (in the loosest use of the term).

Any idea if they'll be accepted into the Southern League?
