Don't know exactly what happened. The rules seem to change every year, but back then you could start a reformed club 2 steps below where the old club was, the FA didn't get so involved as now. So KL applied to join the Eastern Counties Premier, but the clubs voted to accept them only in Division One. The UCL were however prepared to let them into their premier division. It is sort of on the edge of UCL land and the old Kings Lynn club were members way back.SouthRushdenJFC wrote:Weren't KL in the UCl only because no one else would have them?
