I think most of the refs we have had this season have been pretty good considering the level ( certainly no worse than some we had at Conference level). Generally they seem more prepared to let the game flow, with just the odd one who wants to be centre of attention.
There have been occasions when we have had the rub of the green on decisions, it just seems unfortunate that we have been on the wrong end of a couple of very debatable decisions in key games Oadby and Eynesbury) which have affected the results of those games to our detriment, whereas those which have gone in our favour have been generally in matches we have won comfortably anyway.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of previous decisions we are still in a position where our destiny is in our own hands, so hopefully the players will be strong enough to see it through these last 3 games.

I'm hoping that Chris Hope can sign for one more season for us, he's experience and influence levels on the young lads is top notch. He's had a great season and shown how much the club meant to him when he joined in the summer. A proper Diamond geezer!

Sorry, but I think it was blatant cheating! It was never a foul on both occasions and if the argument is that he can only give what he sees then he should not be a referee as both, especially the first, were just disgraceful. My mate turned to me 60 seconds before their penalty and said that the ref is going to give them something and what goes and happens! I have been a ref before and it is hard work but if you can't do the job in such big games just say so and let someone else do it. Also some kids ran on the pitch, a pathetic attempt at it too, lets get over it and move on to the promotion push.

I agree, in fact Starms says in the match highlights, the ref needed to give them something to keep the league tight! Makes you wonder

I don't want to call the ref a cheat or say we're being stitched up, but the evidence isn't great is it? If the penalty decision isn't bad enough, WTF is the free kick about? What I would say is it's clearly a guy who CRAVES attention.

It's still in our own hands though, if we don't get promotion from here it's our own fault, not his.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

The worse referee I've ever seen. I wasn't happy with him at the end. I've been to 100's and 1000's of games before and he's the worse I've seen.

Leading up to there 1st goal. How was that a free kick. It was never a free kick and never a penalty for there 2nd goal.

Anyway still in are hands. 3 wins or 2 wins and a draw and we there. :D
