Can we be surprised at anything the FL sanction after allowing Wimbledon FC to die in that move to MK??
Brighton were allowed to move to Gillingham for several seasons more than 60 miles away, before decamping to the awful Withdean.( That FA Cup tie there nearly gave me pneumonia)
Coventry fans may get a little bit of hope from looking at Brighton now, but it took a very long time!!!

It was actually the FA that sanctioned Wimbledon's move to MK. However, I agree that the Football League shouldn't have permitted Coventry to move.
