I talked to him earlier, he's very disappointed but he enjoyed the season in the sun. He said the silver lining to all this is that now he can have the whole stand to himself again, rather than only having a couple of blocks to stretch out.Trek wrote:I bet Botterill and his management team's resignation was a big shock to Sileby's fan.

Having been told why Glenn Botterill resigned, I can't say as I blame him.

Re: Glenn Botterill Resigns
Sileby can't even honour a friendly match tonight.
@IrchUtdFC: Following the recent issues at Sileby Rangers, our friendly tonight has been cancelled and everyone is expected to train at Irchester, 7pm

Just saw Sileby's opening fixtures and I don't think it could be any worse for them. Spalding away, Us away then Holbeach away
They could concede as many goals in 3 games as they did all last season!

Spalding and (hopefully) us, should be very difficult for them. Holbeach maybe an early relegation six pointerOlly wrote:Just saw Sileby's opening fixtures and I don't think it could be any worse for them. Spalding away, Us away then Holbeach away![]()

With Goodwin having been the Long Buckby manager until recently, he follows the same path as Glen Botterill.Mat.H wrote:Scott Goodwin is the new Silby manager and has signed an load aof 17 & 18 year olds including Zak Moon and Fred Devereaux (not sure on spelling sorry Fred) good luck to them.

Latest Sileby signings. Apart from Foster, Goodwin and our two ex U18 lads not many familiar names.
