I'd say Sean's headed goal's (ie one against Raunds) still beat Dunk's total in distance

Just watched the highlights as missed game Saturday a Monday morning question for the Stato`s.
As a total number and percentage of total scored, headed goals last season compared with this :?:
I think its safe to say we didn't have anyone who scored eight headed goals in eight days last season.
That`s not the answer I was expecting from you :?: :?: presume you are busy working on a more detailed one at this moment in time.

After a quick scan while waiting for the FA Vase draw, I've come up with the following (I might have missed an odd one).

Last season our strikers / attacking players scored 12 headers out of 114 goals scored by Diamonds players (we scored 22 headers in total - the other 10 came from Hope, Deakin and McBride).

This season the strikers / attacking players have already scored 12 headers out of 40 goals (with two more from Deakin making it 14 to date).

Last season Newman scored 4 headers, Taylor 2, Ellwood 2, Morgan 2, Allen 1 and Wisniewski 1.

So last year 22 from 114 = 19% of our goals were headers, this year it`s 14 from 40 = 35%, that is a lot % wise, perhaps you could check a few other Clubs and see how that rates, or other complete leagues, only if you have time of course

Perhaps not ...

This random link from Google might suggest that last season's average was fairly normal - http://www.bigsoccer.com/community/thre ... ed.121743/

Very long but honest & fair report, a few points of note.
Slight deflection for their goal
When was the last time the D&D was described as an excellent pitch :o
Sure regardless of tomorrow nights result we can have a week without any moans about our squad, when someone from another Club heaps praise on them like this report does.
Last but by no means least.
One thing highlighted in the report but never mentioned on the forum as to why we are so dangerous as an attacking unit :?: and possibly not so highly acclaimed by our own support as they may have seen very little Step 5 football & been used to watching professional players on billiard table pitches. The quality of delivery from wide from to be fair the vast majority of our team. Maybe just something we have all got used to but IMO it's way above what most teams at this level would expect or get.
