Re: Daryl Clare
What really happened with Darryl Clare? Given that we now know that all we were told came from a source now totally discredited. I'm not saying DC was not at fault, but we only have the testimony of Mr Cousins to go on.

Re: Daryl Clare
Perhaps there is someone who knows the ins and outs. It's a shame because as I was quite young then I really enjoyed watching him as a player. The song about him was fantastic
then everyone seemed to turn on him when he moved to mansfield, I think that's where he went? To this day I ain't sure what happened, whether or not his ill family member had anything to do with it.
But anyways that's all in the past, new club new start for me and I ain't got any hatred, whether he done anything wrong or not. Hope he does well at Boston!!

Re: Daryl Clare
Wasn't the reason given, difficulties travelling from the North Lincolnshire area for training as a result of problems looking after his poorly wife who was expecting their child? He had a really poor start to his season with us picking up that shoulder injury in the pre-season friendly against Arsenal and never really got going and never showed us what he was capable of producing.
I would like our fans to show him respect when we play him.

100% agree Trek, though I presume our back 4 have permission to put him in ROW F if required.Trek wrote: I would like our fans to show him respect when we play him.

I agree, what's gone has gone, I'd hope we'll focus on getting behind our lads and urging them on to win the game
