What really happened with Darryl Clare? Given that we now know that all we were told came from a source now totally discredited. I'm not saying DC was not at fault, but we only have the testimony of Mr Cousins to go on.

Perhaps there is someone who knows the ins and outs. It's a shame because as I was quite young then I really enjoyed watching him as a player. The song about him was fantastic :D then everyone seemed to turn on him when he moved to mansfield, I think that's where he went? To this day I ain't sure what happened, whether or not his ill family member had anything to do with it.

But anyways that's all in the past, new club new start for me and I ain't got any hatred, whether he done anything wrong or not. Hope he does well at Boston!!

Wasn't the reason given, difficulties travelling from the North Lincolnshire area for training as a result of problems looking after his poorly wife who was expecting their child? He had a really poor start to his season with us picking up that shoulder injury in the pre-season friendly against Arsenal and never really got going and never showed us what he was capable of producing.
I would like our fans to show him respect when we play him.

100% agree Trek, though I presume our back 4 have permission to put him in ROW F if required.

I agree, what's gone has gone, I'd hope we'll focus on getting behind our lads and urging them on to win the game :D
