Won't be at this one either sadly. Can't remember the last time I missed an opening game. Probably Eastbourne away in 09/10.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

I'll be there, enjoyed Bowdens Park last season, although it can get a tad windy there. I can't see us hitting 6 again but I still think we should control it - 3-1 with Dunks, Koriya & Gearing (pen) scoring before a late consolation for them.

It's not so much the late consolation goals that worry me, although often frustrating, it's the late equalisers and winners in important matches, often our Achilles heel over the last couple of seasons, that has cost us quite a few valuable points.paulg wrote:....before a late consolation for them.

Actually the late consolation goals really annoy me, but yes the late equalisers and winners even more (Spalding). I would love to see more clean sheets. We have tended to get sloppy when we reach the last few minutes. I am hoping Dolmans experience and leadership will help to amend this.
With regards to Eastbourne opener 09/10 that was when the Red Arrows welcomed us!!

I agree, at this level Liam could play in his slippers and with a pipe. ;)sussexdiamond wrote: I am hoping Dolmans experience and leadership will help to amend this.

You're spot on RH; the point has again been missed by a country mile. The real point is that you don't really have a clue about how Alfie was treated by the club. All you've seen are a few vague tweets from a distrungtled ex-player, who is obviously going to paint himself as an angel and make out that the club is the bad guy in all of this.rudolph_hucker wrote:Once again the point is missed by a country mile. There is no reason to treat anybody in the way Alfie was treated by the club. The guy has a valid point but as usual nobody wants to hear anything negative about the club.
Redsnapper you are indeed correct.
The club could have replied to Alfie's tweets and told everyone the whole story, but 1) it would be wholly inappropriate and unprofessional to do so, and 2) the people running it are not that childish. But hey, if you want to follow a club who air their dirty linen in public, then K*ttering only play a few miles up the road. We're obviously not worth supporting anyway if you genuinely can't find anything positive to say about the club.

Our manager also clarified the situation months ago in person at a members forum. Not sure you'd get that at many clubs.

Dave, with all due respect you have NO idea as to what has transpired between Us to as you don't know the relationship I have with AT. I am only commenting on conversations I have been party to.

As fans forums are always ( I think) held midweek it is impossible for me to attend them as I work away from home all week. Unfortunately I have no idea what goes on at them......Diamond White wrote:Our manager also clarified the situation months ago in person at a members forum. Not sure you'd get that at many clubs.
