We need to be on the front foot from kick off with a 4-4-2 formation. I suspect Aylesbury's defence is rather brittle bearing in mind Bedford put 5 past them in the match a week ago.

Hoban again, what a signing. Anyone still want Courtney Herbert? We need MORE players of his obvious calibre.

Yes it really did look like deja vu AGAIN, but Dolman popped up to score the winner from the spot. Aylesbury might have felt the result was unjustified with their early onslaught but as we all know you've gotta take your chances. I think that's the sort of win we needed to boost the team, you could see how much it meant to the players at the end. Still undefeated!

I'd predicted more results by the odd goal before the season started as a result.

I think once the first win comes confidence will flow and we'll slowly climb up the table. I'll be very surprised if we're not top 5 come the end of the season. I think the best way to see games out is to keep our shape, and that shape should be 4-4-2 in my opinion.

If we were playing badly I'd be more worried - but we look good and will improve as time goes on. I think we'll win 2-1 tomorrow !
Wish I'd put a tenner on that :)

Congratulations to Peaksy and the lads on their first step 4 win !! Had a feeling it'd be tonight - I hope to be back in time to see the second on Saturday :)

What a great win. A 90th minute winner is always more sweeter. :D

Are first win in the Southern League. :D

What an end to the game!! Feels great to get a 90th minute penalty and winner, I was afraid there was going to be yet another twist with us missing the penalty, but of course Dolman was so cool from the spot and wasn't going to miss, finally a win in the Southern League :D

Obviously at the time it was very disappointing again to concede late on like that and we were sloppy again in not being able to finish the game off, but credit to the lads for going on to snatch back the win with what was a clear penalty :)

With the other results tonight we only go up one place. But who cares! Another win on Saturday and we will soon be back near the top.

Findlays' reaction to the goal showed how much it means to the team. He ran the whole length of the pitch to join in the celebrations.

Don't think Jack Ashton will be fit to play for a while though.

A big thanks for that victory must go to Matt Finlay. It was down to him we aren't talking about a 3-2 defeat rather than a 2-1 win from what was probably our weakest showing to date. I'd like to see Brad back in midfield on Saturday if either Wilkinson is back or Jack Ashton recovers from his knock to partner Brown, Gordon and Dolman in the back four.
